Dusk

Light the candle,
The ancient rite begins,
Sacrifice the lamb,
And drain the blood.
Upon the altar for his glory,
So that he may guide us and grant us power.
Take this cup,
Filled with blood,
Drink it and you will not die.
Take the flesh,
From the lamb,
Eat it and you will live forever.
The ever-burning torch light the night:
All fear is gone.
His presence enters within us:
Our sorrows are lifted.
It is dusk, the sun has set, the sun has left,
Shadows from the void shroud the world.
Demons from the night will haunt me,
as I venture into the deep, dark, abyss.

Disdain
09:35
|
|||
Blood falls to the ground,
Marking the world's fate,
To be consumed by the fires of hate.
Brother kills brother,
Son kills father,
Disdain.
Wives poison husbands,
Mothers drown children,
Disdain.
Wrath: sin of blood,
Blinded by hate,
but humanity meets its fate.
Those who still remained,
After the tempest of blood,
Filled with guilt for the things they have done.
They're hate turns inward,
And those that remained,
Ended themselves.
"I have come to set the earth o fire,
And how I wish it were already blazing.
There is a baptism with which I must be baptized,
and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished.
Do you think I have come to establish peace on earth?
No,I tell you,
But rather division.
From now on a household of five will be divided,
three against two and two against three;
A father will be divided against his son, and a son against his father,
A mother against her daughter, and a daughter against her mother.
Rain falls to the ground,
Marking a new chapter.
Ending the fire and destruction,
So that the world can begin again.

Chorus: The night has come, to swallow us, and pull us deeper into the shadows of despair.
The night has been unruly. Where we lay
Our chimneys were blown down, and as they
Lamenting heard in the air, strange screams of
Death,
And prophesying with accents terrible,
Of dire and confused events
New hatched to the woeful times. Some say
The earth was feverous and did shake.
(chorus)
Within the volume of time I have seen
Hours dreadful and things strange, but
This sore night hath trifled
All former knowings.

All Are Sorrowful
04:21
|
|||
Rain falls all around (me),
Crying sounds in the distance,
Mournful wails (of pain) disturb me,
All are sorrowful.
Children all so hungry,
Mothers sell themselves (to feed them),
But the children die anyway,
All are sorrowful.
The monks all pray,
The people repent,
The priests forgive,
The shadows kill them,
All are sorrowful.
The plants all withered,
The animals all died,
Man killed man,
Human ate Human,
All are sorrowful.
